I've been detecting New England for years now. I've found 1700s Cash coins, 1600's French coins, 1700s Spanish, Russian, and English coins etc etc. Me and my Equinox 600 go out everyday there isn't snow. This week I was hunting a hay field and found this 1942 Australian penny!! Almost 10,000 miles away...with my Australian detector!! I'm guessing a Yankee was fighting with an Aussie during WW2.
