about a week before the CWPPO event in Ohio my CTX3030 had an accident . It shifted while in the back of my pickup and came in contact with a 24 volt 1000 cc amp charging system and was pretty much electrocuted destroying the coil and lower shaft. With no work done to it other than attaching a borrowed lower shaft and Coil , I took it to Ohio to participate in the Civil War Preservation Project dig. Now affectionately referred to as :OLD SMOKEY, My cooked CTX went on to located the first Round ball of the day and a piece of Case Shot in a field of very scarce and hard to locate targets. I am so impressed with this machine not to mention the Amazing contributions it made to this awesome weekend of saving history.
