Perfect seal matrix

21 Jan 2019

It was a cold bright morning as I turned my EQUINOX 800 on, the stubble field I was in is alongside a pre medieval church so I was feeling lucky. The morning went by and club members around me was digging medieval coins up and was hoping my luck would change after lunch. Sweeping across the field low and slow, I had a lovely target. Digging down and scanning the dug soil, out popped a lovely medieval coin. 15 minutes later the EQUINOX rang out again and after searching through the loose soil a near perfect medieval seal matrix was in my hand. My only 2nd one found. Then to top off the day, digging down at least 14 inches out popped my first ever medieval horse pendant. All from the same 3 acre field in Hampshire UK.
