OMG - What a Day

18 Apr 2018

Hit a small beach today and it looks like the recent close call we had with Cyclone Iris last week had stirred things up quite a bit. I got a faint one-way signal of just 5 on the EQUINOX, normally I wouldn't bother with it but out of curiosity I dug it. After just one scoop, it sounded a lot better and two more scoops later, I laid my eyes on this beauty. From The Field Artillery School - Fort Sill... It is believe to be possibly post WW2. These were normally received a Gold Class ring were officers that were graduates from special military schools. The ring appears been resized at some stage, there are no dates, initials or CT markings to see but it is 10 Ct gold. Cleaned up weight 18.6 grams. So it seems we may never know who the owner was! Either way it is certainly a special find & one of my best by far.
