Celtic bronze stamp

10 Apr 2018

In a survey before the construction of the road was good for me one nice find. I have nothing similar to compare. I think it's a very old Celtic bronze stamp for decorating ceramics. The body is bronze, the center of iron, the whole artefact is 30% fused with fire. In our region, ceramics with such decoration do not appear. It was probably the prey that was used to produce new goods. The melting furnace could not be found - it's probably avoided building and exploration. I like to go with the CTX 3030. We use the Xchange2 program in archeological surveys.Feedback of my hunting in the field. It's a watch dog 😏. Good combination for our work. I wish everyone in the Minelab managed to continue building good machines and all users a lot of wonderful discoveries. Hello Black
