Buried bells ! What a world of merriment their melody tells!

16 Apr 2019

April 13th, 2019 was the day that the Bell rang for Louis W. Grande. A rare cortal bell was pulled from the ground using a Minelab Equinox 800. The bell was about 10' inches deep when found on a New England pasture. The Bell was hallmarked "WS" and it turns out that it was made in York, England by William Seller between 1675-1687. The Bell was donated to The Historic Franklin Farm, the property on which it was found, to be included in their museum. The Caretaker of the property stated that "it was the best thing to ever be found on the land". I am extremely happy to have been a part of that recovery. Such a find would not have happened without the power and technology of the Minelab EQUINOX 800.
