A short time ago, I was detecting with my amazing EQUINOX 800 in one of the more trashy parks here in town. I was pulling a lot of modern change out of the ground (this park has been detected hard over the years) and after a few hours was about to head off to one of my other spots. I was detecting as I walked back to the car, and found a very solid nickel signal ranging 12-13. I decided to give it a go and I'm sure lucky that I did. In the plug was a solid 14K ladies gold ring with what we believe it’s an emerald set within it. After bringing it home and gently cleaning it up, we were able to confirm the embossed 14K stamp and I couldn't be more thrilled!
2018 was my first year detecting and this is my first quality ring that I have found. I credit my Minelab EQUINOX 800 for this find and thank my lucky stars that I upgraded to this amazing machine a few months back. I was using the 6" coil at the time as well. God bless and thanks for reading!
