I found this nicely detailed 1919 standing liberty quarter at an old sawmill/home site that dates back into the mid 1800’s. I was invited to do some digging by an in-law/friend of mine that I recently got to pick up a detector. It was his first day detecting with his new machine, I think him seeing me pull this with my EQUINOX 800 got him even more stoked to delve into the addiction of metal detecting. You don’t see them this nice too often, must have been dropped not too long after minting. Found a lot of other goodies this same day including an 1864 2 Cent piece, 1941 mercury dime, 3 1943 war nickels, some wheats and buttons. I love the Nox and I’ve only had it 2 weeks!
