Headed up to Meekatharra for a week, pushing 38 degree heat, heading to a 40e I had submitted when the camper wheel cracked in half on a dirt track also damaging the shocks, was not a good start. Finally got to the spot, swinging for about 5 hours with no luck, and then got a little wobble, which were the blood running get down a few inches and she got nice and loud. Probably just over a foot and pulled this beauty out! A nice specimen. I went from what the hell am I doing out here with the flies and the heat to bloody hell I love this!! Haha. After crushed and panned a couple grams short of 3 ounces. In total 106 grams for the trip.
