Success Story

Started detecting 2years ago. I live in Perth Western Australia which was colonised in approximately 1820's. I have a keen interest in this time era and aim too target these areas with the Minelab EQUINOX 600. I usually try and get out for a hunt on Saturday mornings. Well found an early site close to the Swan River and have been pulling out a lot of early 1800s coins, buttons and relics. It's a large area and lucky for me the targets and coming out left, right and centre. It was Saturday morning I got to the hunting area at first light. Hunted for half the day nonstop and pulling awesome targets as well. So the morning was coming to an end and I thought to me to myself after I got a 1827 English half Penny, it's time to go home and clean these finds and post them up on my page for all to see. Of course only after I dig a couple more targets. Next minute I get an 18-17 on the EQUINOX. Solid signal, sounds really good so I dig. I put my PRO-FIND 35 in the plug and it goes nuts. I reach down and there is an early 1800s snake buckle. I can't believe it and was lucky to catch it video. I'm thinking this day can't get any better than this and I get a similar signal as I was heading to the car!! 18-17 dig it up and there it was another 1800s Snake buckle. Unbelievable 2 snake buckles in 1 day. Never imagined I would ever dig one and in 1 Fay I dig 2. I've been back to this spot 4 times and keep getting amazing finds and have dug a 3rd snake buckle. Can't wait to get back there this Saturday.
