On Sunday, November 26th, 2017, the ROTORUA RALLY took place in the North Island of New Zealand. Sponsored by Minelab and our authorised dealer Jacobs Digital, the event was a great opportunity for both new users and seasoned detectorists to learn about Minelab and test their skills on a seeded hunt.
We had over 70 attendees take part in a full day of metal detecting, prizes and giveaways. After finding buried Minelab tokens, participants went into the draw to win one of the following prizes: Two PRO-GOLD kits, an X-TERRA 705, a Safari and a GO-FIND 60!
The Rotorua Rally was also a great opportunity for people to try the new Minelab EQUINOX. This time, the EQUINOX came racing in on a jet ski across The Blue Lake! It wasn't long before curious attendees were given the opportunity to try the new detector in a number of test areas.
