Go Minelabbing Day 2016

Minelab and various metal detector community groups sponsored “Go Minelabbing” events on May 14th, 2016 to celebrate the International Metal Detecting Day. It was a very successful day with thousands of attendees around the world, fantastic finds and Minelab prizes.

Thanks to those who participated in the different events and shared their photos and stories with us. Minelabbing is all about embracing the principles of what makes our hobby great, coupled with the ethics for doing it responsibly!

“Beyond The Beep held another Go Minelabbing day at Dumfries Museum's Festival of Museums day. Our event sponsored by Minelab Metal Detectors was yet again hugely successful. Both the Go-Find 40 star prizes were found on the token hunt and there were many other happy participants who all won a selection of goodies” Beyond the Deep, UK.

“All in all, it was a very successful day as far as we were concerned, and we received a lot of positive feedback in person and via social media.  I have attached a few photos, but they don't do justice to the day. We were very busy throughout the day, and participants were spread out over a large area.” CWPS, Australia.
