I’m originally from Poland but now live in England, where my passion for history led me naturally into the world of metal detecting. Traveling with my detector has become a way of life, and Minelab has been at the heart of that journey. The EQUINOX 800 was the machine that truly ignited my adventure, giving me the confidence to uncover remarkable finds. Over the years I’ve discovered Roman coins, a small hoard of three Roman pieces, a 12th-century stirrup mount, and even an Italian soldier’s dog tag, which I was honoured to return to his family. For me, detecting is about more than recovering objects, it’s about preserving history, connecting people across time, and inspiring others to explore the past with the same passion.
