My first experience metal detecting came when a friend let me try his machine around a schoolyard, where I uncovered coins and jewellery that instantly hooked me. Soon after, I bought my own $300 gold detector and found my very first silver dime, a 1911 Barber, which sealed my passion for detecting. Since then, I have discovered natural gold nuggets in the Nevada gold fields and made countless memories and friendships along the way. This journey continues to excite me, and I look forward to the adventures and finds the future will bring.
