Finally, the rain had stopped and the first thing I did was grab the detector, jump in the car and head out to my friends property for a detect. After detecting for an hour, I had pulled out a 1851 sixpence and 2 British penny's so i was pretty pleased with myself. The rain was starting to fall again so I told myself: only 10 more minutes. The next dig I couldn't believe my eyes, I could see the rim and I knew straight away it was a cart wheel penny. The first thing I did was to secure the coin in my pocket and did a cartwheel! I was stoked! I started to walk back to the car when BOOM, another one lit up on the screen, so I dug it up and did another cartwheel in the paddock.
What a day! A sixpence, 2 British pennys, 2 cartwheels and a bad back from the cartwheel ha ha. You guys certainly do change fortunes!
