I’m Carl Prudence and I own a Minelab EQUINOX 800, I have been detecting on a farm near where I live and found gold twice now, the 1st time was a lovely 22ct gold wedding ring 1864 which was broken from the plough unfortunately but I thought it too nice of a find not to have it repaired so I took it to a specialist jewellers to have it fixed it came out really well and I'm very pleased with it. And the 2nd time was the other day I found a really nice gold watch winder. To find gold is great, I hear people say to me "there is at least one bit of gold in every field”, well I've exceeded there's and mine expectations as I have now found gold twice in as many weeks in the same field. i have been metal detecting for nearly 20 years and only found gold 3 times which was a very long time ago now since the last time I'd found any, I'd not found any for ages, I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever find any again then I change brands and metal detectors and location and hit gold yippppeee!!! What a great hobby we have and how lucky are we to have EQUINOX. I love mine :) I'd like to recommend a Minelab EQUINOX 800 to anybody they love the gold and silver.
