Spanish in the show

26 Mar 2018

Well it all started by my son and me out detecting a field next to his school. The day was light over cast and not a lot of wind a very pleasant day in fact. After about an hour my CTX 3030 had sniffed out a nice high tone deep in the earth 7+. What I had found was an 1836 half-dollar in great shape. The boy was the first to unveil the age of the mighty roundness, his eyes where wide open like little moon gazing on the he field. So off the next target we went. 30 minutes later the CTX 3030 sounded off again but this time it was a deep solid mid tone. This time we find an 1850 seated half. We said this day could not be better, stopped, and packed it in. The next day we went back to find more sweetness this time I invited a newer detectorist with a CTX to see if we could not share our good fortune. 3 hours into our hunt, we all meet up at the bottom of the hill to talk about the hunt thus far. Wouldn't you know it I set my coil right on a high deep tone as I was leaning on the base while chatting? I know its silver but let the guest swing and hear the sweet sound with his machine. So I let him dig it up, well guess what was talking to the CTX?
