On July 13th the ticket booth attendant at Pemaquid Beach, Maine told us that a couple had reported losing a wedding ring. We searched part of the general area yesterday with no luck, and went back this morning to try another section. We detected for about an hour, then decided to leave as more people started arriving. We made one last pass at the water's edge and found it! The husband had been building a sand castle and the ring slipped off; they had left a phone number and were still in the area, so we were able to reunite them with the ring (4 weeks shy of their 5th anniversary). We have found several rings with our Safari, but this was the best find yet!
