Some friends wanted to go hunt a local lake and I was like let’s hit this one beach so we met up a little before noon, the wind was a sustained 40 mph with higher gust it was in the middle of a cold front blowing in. Waves were 3 to 4-foot-high I know not impressive but this is south west Oklahoma on lake Lugert. Well I decided I was going to hit the rock side of the beach next to the boat lunch. The wind was moving a lot of sand so the clay was exposed in areas. So I am swinging the detector moving up from the lake and I get a good solid tone 2 inches down so I use my scoop backwards to pull the sand back and I heard it hit the scoop. One of my friends was about 10 feet away and he says what is it. As I picked it up I said a ring it is probably scrap as it had clay stuck around it so I slipped it on my finger and put my detector against my scoop and was walking over to him and using my finger to work the ring when I got to him I looked at the ring and saw the 3 and 5 with the space. I said well maybe it isn't junk went to the water trying not to get hit by a wave and found out I dug a 1935 10k and sterling class ring
