The battle of Brandy Station was the largest cavalry battle in the U.S during the American civil war. It was also an area with a number of large encampments. The ground here is heavily mineralized so it's a struggle for VLF machines, so the machine of choice is the GPX. This hot ground is no match for the GPX as it was pulling relics out of the ground DEEP! Thanks Minelab for putting out such great products and a fantastic service department to boot! During the week long hunt I turned over 70 bullets, a number of buttons (including a confederate Artillery button) even some old civil war glass!!!
