I hunt homes that are to be demolished dated 1964 or before. I was at a home scheduled to be demoed. Most of the other homes that I hunt have been hunted by others already, so I got a Minelab CTX 3030 to help me compensate my finds, the others miss al lot of items. I was finding a lot of modern coins then I got a nice mid-tone on the CTX 3030. I don't remember what the numbers were because I hunt by sound a lot. I went down about 5 inches and saw a reddish stone looking up at me with a gold emblem on it. I immediately recognized the Masonic emblem. So out pops a nice 10k vintage Mason ring. I showed it on some Facebook and Instagram posts and was contacted by someone close to where I live.
He is a Mason and spoke with his Lodge members and we have come to an agreement on returning this ring to his Masonic Lodge. The other small piece of .925 Sterling was also found in the same yard.
