I was at a job site on a piece of property that once was a part of Mt Vernon (George Washington's plantation) and asked the owner if he would mind me poking around. He was a little hesitant at first until I showed him the plugs of dirt I would be digging in his golf course like grass. I own 2 detectors, one of which is a competitors which I started using first. After having no luck and being very chatty I switched to "Ole Reliable", my Minelab Explorer SE Pro. Things got exciting quick! On my first hole using the Explorer out pops this 1941 Naval Aviation ring with a Masonic symbol. Thanks Minelab, even though my Explorer is past it's prime, it never ever disappoints!
