Bronze age Hammer

08 Jun 2017

Hello from the North East UK . Over last 3 years we have been finding Bronze age items on one of our permissions. We even went to the extreme of the farmer cutting the reeds down in a field. Also my Farther cut and area where we had found bronze age items with a strimmer. Keen or what lol at the tender age of 62. The finds have dwindled but we still keep finding an odd item. The fields are pasture and cover around 25 acres. Our latest find was this lovely rare bronze age hammer. The hammer is in great shape and the nice thing you can see its been used a lot as worn on one side. We will keep hammering!!!! At these fields maybe someday we might find a bit of yellow. My farther uses the 17 inch coil on his CTX with his Minelab harness which he will not hunt without . I love the stock coil. We both use a combined programme and will continue the quest on our Bronze age fields.
