I recently had a good friend come over from Australia to Thailand, Derek Williams. While Derek was here he wished to get some detecting in. Derek was only here a few days and the tides were not right during his visit. I thought giving the waterfalls around Southern Thailand might be a better idea and he agreed. Derek said that he had never detected in waterfalls before but would like to try. We went to more than a few waterfalls but one of the waterfalls produced this lovely 18 karat pink sapphire ring. A stunningly beautiful ring.
I was not sure that it was real at first but after having a jeweller take a look it has been confirmed. This is the most beautiful ring I have found to date. Just goes to show that moving around and changing locations can pay off in a big way. Happy hunting!
