Every time I take this detector out I learn something new. As more and more hunters have gotten into the hobby my finds were decreasing. One beach I hunt is full of rusted foreign coins. A day's hunt can easily consist of digging a hundred of these and nothing of value. As I've learned more and more about the CTX--my accuracy has really gone up. I've also been able to go into some trash-strewn edge sections with the 17" coil and get some gold that was so deep that it came out green. These are sections that are hunted almost daily but are "wide open" with this deep coil and the CTX's accuracy.
