Arizona Outback Prospector's Outing - Arizona

The Arizona Outback Prospector’s Outing has been scheduled for December 2-4th, 2011. Whether you are new to gold prospecting, or a seasoned detectorist, this outing promises to be an event you will not want to miss! Come and join us for hands-on demonstrations, a Q&A session, and a chance to see some of the newest equipment from Minelab. The cost of admission is FREE! So, please bring your friends and family – there’s plenty for all to see and do.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn from experienced detector operators, prospect in a place that has yielded thousands of nuggets, and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow prospectors around the campfire.

The outing will be held at the Dome Rock Mountain short-term camping area. It is located in La Paz County, AZ and is approximately 3.5 miles west of Quartzsite, AZ. To get to the Dome Rock Mountain 14-Day Camping Area take the Interstate 10 Frontage Road (Kuehn Street) from the mile marker 19 exit west. The camping area is south and north of the Frontage Road. This is a wide, open area and can accommodate tents, campers, and motor-homes; however there are no facilities at this site. We hope to see you there!
