Arizona Outback Outing - Stanton, AZ USA

Arizona Outback will be hosting an outing on March 26-27th, 2011 at Stanton, Arizona. This event will be a great opportunity to meet fellow prospectors and learn more about the Minelab range of metal detectors, including the new GPX 5000 and 4800. The outing is FREE and all are welcome to attend. There is no need to make a reservation. The old gold mining camp of Stanton is located northwest of Phoenix and northeast of Wickenburg. The area is 2WD accessible and there is plenty of open space for dry camping in the vicinity of Decision Corner (approx. 1.5 miles east of Stanton). Motels are available in the nearby town of Wickenburg. Participants will need to bring their own food, drink, camping gear and prospecting equipment. Most of this area is under private claim and therefore we recommend joining one of the following clubs if you would like to detect. These are: Gold Prospectors Association of America, Weaver Mining District, or the Roadrunners. These organizations have mining claims in the area and can be worked for a yearly fee. If you should have any questions regarding the outing, please email: We hope to see you there!
