Been Coin hunting for over 34 years and have found many old coins but had never been able to find a Seated Liberty quarter until this past weekend. Was hunting a old closed down golf course that dates back to 1922 and came across a 6 inch deep tire track completely filled with water. I scanned my coil over the tire track and received a nice high tone 12-46 from my E-TRAC. After trying unsucessfully to scoop all the water out of the ditch I reached in with my hands and just started scooping out mud and checking with my pinpointer. After about 6 or 7 big scoops of mud I got a signal from my pointer and what a surprise. A 1878 Seated Liberty quarter. Thank you Minelab. Joe - Ohio, USA
