I was detecting a soccer field and finding lots of clad quarters, so when I found what I thought were two clad quarters stuck together I didn't bother to give them a look and put them in my pouch.
When I got home and cleaned off my finds I noticed these weren't dirty clad quarters but two 1851 half cents that were stuck together in decent shape.
I cleaned them up a bit and will leave them stuck together as a conversation piece.
