Had a lovely half day detecting in the Adelaide Goldfields today. In particular the Gumeracha Goldfields. Went to a spot I haven't detected before, and concentrated on areas just below a reef. There was quite a lot of bird lead shot. On the second or third signal, out popped this lovely 1.3 gram solid gold iron stone specimen. My second largest for this goldfield. Thanks again Minelab for creating such a beautiful machine in the SDC 2300. Have now found over 5 nuggets in South Australia and over 50 in Victoria.
