Received my brand new CTX 3030 on Tuesday and had a 1 day detecting rally booked for Sunday, I had been detecting for about an hour with no finds only a few bits of junk when I suddenly had a really clear loud signal.
I stuck my spade in the ground and flipped the dirt over and there was this stunning gold stater just staring back at me. I couldn't believe it, this was the first time i had used the CTX 3030 and I had found a iron age gold coin dating to around 50 B.C.!
This is a fantastic machine, and I can't wait to get out and use it again. Thank you Minelab!
