Just Amazing

16 Oct 2011

I was spending an early rainy morning pouring over old maps and atlases and found reference to what was called F.U. Academy in Fairfield County Ohio. After a little research I found out that Fairfield Union Academy was a boarding school built in 1860. The present site was a newer elementary school that was recently bulldozed. On October 2nd I went on a hunt with Mike Haer of MT Detector sales in Lancaster Ohio, his newest E-TRAC customer Mark and Kyle (Explorer SE). We hunted a well beaten park for a couple of hours. Kyle found a Barber dime with his Explorer SE and I was able to secure another barber dime and a 1937 Buffalo Nickel.
