Found this last fall 6 inches down at the base of a tree. Nobody knows what or why it's there. I took it to the Edmonton museum and all they could say is "it's more than 200yrs old and doesn't belong in Canada". I've sent pics to museums in UK with the same response. Forum conversations conclusions are that of a nose guard.
