Henry VII angel

22 Feb 2015

Went out Sunday 15th February, I had been detecting a couple hours when I got a great signal, 12-38 on my E-TRAC display. I dug a plug of approximately 4" and flipped it over. I swept the E-TRAC over the plug and signal was still in the hole. As I placed my spade in to the soil I noticed what appeared to be a flattened bottle top. On closer inspection I realised it wasn't a bottle top but was infant a gold coin. (To be exact it was a Henry VII gold ang!) I couldn't believe my eyes. 4 years detecting and I find a gold hammered!
