After the rain I headed out with the Safari for an afternoon hunt at a park I've hunted a few times over the summer. I headed over to a spot I hadn't hit too hard and put the coil to the ground. The day started off slow until I scored a small silver ring, 2.36g stamped 925 and 68 AR, an Italian hallmark. It was quiet again for about an hour, until I got a solid two way midtone, solid 14 VDI, a perfect pulltab/gold signal. About 4" down I spied this beauty.
It's a 9.89g, 18k gold ring, with a 1977 Iranian 1/2 pahval gold coin. This is the find of my season for sure. Nick – Quebec, Canada
