On February, 23 – the Day of the Defender of Fatherland, one of the main male holidays, why not to go and find something interesting. It is the light frost outside and we are on the way to search. We are planning to conquer the old postal station, which disappeared after the railway construction. Straying through the endless roads and steppes and focusing on the map, we are finally at “our place”. The weather is not so pleasant and it became colder as we drove further north and cold wind blew to the face. The weather cannot stop us and we took out our detectors: two X-TERRA 70 and my X-TERRA 705. One of my friends forgot detector’s part at home and decided to go back (50 km one way), and we started to search without him. He came back after two and a half hours and during that time we couldn’t find anything and our lunch boxes were in his car. At the break time by having our sandwiches and tea we started to talk about going to some other places as here we didn’t find anything at all and may be this is not the postal station place. But our friend didn’t agree with us and said that may be we need to search again…….and he found coin,,,, then I found an old cross…….and now nothing can stop us…. It is turns out that we searched the wrong area and our postal station was 100 meters further, where we left our car. We determined the location of the buildings and the fence by horses remains and started to search. Findings don’t keep us waiting and we found coins, crosses, horse shoes and other household items.
Nearly at the end my X-TERRA started to make very pleasant sound informing that it can be something interesting….and i found the coin I was looking for a long time, 25 kopeyek. I cannot explain how happy I was. We wanted to search more but in winter it’s getting darker early and we decided to return back to home. On the way back I thought that it was very good gift for holiday…but in the reality it was not only gift. At home my wife told me that she is expecting a baby and I was so happy to hear that!!!! I got two presents in one day; daughter and the coin I was dreaming for a long time. Good luck to everyone and lets the fortune finds you.
