The Minelab CTX 3030 Metal Detector has been one of the best all-around metal detectors that I have ever used! I began detecting 22 years ago and being the owner of Treasure Mountain Detectors I have the luxury of using any metal detector on the market. I can honestly say with my 22 years’ of experience metal detecting and using countless metal detectors throughout the years that the Minelab CTX 3030 Metal Detector is the best all-around metal detector that you could possible buy! The CTX 3030 is an excellent Relic Detector while hitting hard on lead and brass which most of your Civil War Relics are made of! The CTX 3030 is also an excellent Coin and Jewelry Detector too while being superior to any other metal detector on silver. I have personally dug old silver coins out of areas that have been pounded by other Detectorists and myself using other metal detectors! The CTX 3030 get superior depth when it comes to silver, I have dug old silver coins numerous times beyond 12” inches deep! Let’s talk about jewelry now……
the CTX 3030 will hit hard on Gold and Silver, put it his way if there is Gold or Silver jewelry in the area you are hunting you will find it with the CTX 3030. Being a member of The Ring Finders Directory I take my CTX 3030 with me on every outing and it has not failed me yet! I personally think where the CTX 3030 excels is in the trashy areas by being able to see and read multiple target’s at the same time. While running the target trace feature on the CTX 3030 I have personally witnessed the CTX 3030 showing 3 targets on the screen….. 2 being ferrous and 1 being non-ferrous…. Amazing!
