Having used the E-TRAC for over four years and learning it inside out I was a little concerned that my new Minelab CTX 3030 may take some getting used to and that it would take time before I started finding worthwhile targets.
Less than two weeks after buying the new CTX 3030 and on only my third trip out I had a lovely mellow tone in my headphones. After digging down six inches or so I was greeted by the beautiful sight of a hammered medieval gold coin that transpired to be a half noble of Edward III.
The CTX 3030, for me, has been a joy to use and my finds rate has noticeably improved. I love this metal detector and it is a worthy replacement for my faithful E-TRAC.
Well done Minelab, you've done a fantastic job again!
