A Crazy Signal

20 Mar 2012

I had the opportunity to revisit a colonial house, that was built in 1704(ish), I'm hunted a few times... I was on site about 5 hours and worked an area measuring 100X100... This property is 47 acres, but the targets were coming pretty steady in this small area... Buttons, Crotal Bells, Indian Head Pennies.... but the find of the day for me was this complete Colonial Buckle!! She has a pretty green patina and was only a few inches down along a path, not 150 feet from this old tavern... The signal was crazy and went from 1/46 to all over the place... but I saw 10/31 12/31 pretty regular in all the bouncing... I'm sure it had something to do with a larger target being that shallow... Thank you Minelab !!!! Paul Flickner - Connecticut, USA
