I was metal detecting at one of my favorite spots last month and my detector gave me a very small chip but the numbers where 12-48 it took me a couple of minutes to pinpoint the target i started to dig got about 8 inches down still could not find the target i used my Deteknix X pinpointer and it was telling me there was something there i dug a couple inches at a time and kept checking with the pin pointer when i finally found the target to my surprise it was a 1912 Barber that was almost 18 inches down in the hole. The pinpointer picked up the target that was almost 9 inches deeper after i dug the first 8 inches down. Would like to thank Chuck Smalley from S/W Shooters and Prospecting and Ron DeGhetto from The Gold Digger for helping me with my CTX detector I was suppressed how much depth I had with the pinpointer and the CTX has. Both guys were a great help to me I wouldn't have found this coin without them helping me out with my CTX Thanks Guys
