18 kt. Gold and Palladium ring recover at the lake of Garda

20 May 2015

18 kt. Gold and Palladium ring recover at the lake of Garda Martin was on vacation with his family in Sirmione in the beautiful surroundings of Lake of Garda, an isthmus of land that extends longitudinally in the clear waters lapping on both sides in the splendour of its landscapes and magnificent architectural structures. The last day Martin was playing with his children on a small beach, they picked up stones and throwing them into the water trying to get them bouncing several times, then the accomplice mild spring temperatures they have not resisted the temptation to bathe in the clear waters of the Lake. It was shortly after Martin realized that his precious 18 Kt gold ring and palladium, custom made by a craftsman, was no longer on his finger; after a moment of dismay he tried to find it, but the enterprise was difficult without knowing exactly the point where it had been lost and not having appropriate equipment.

Two days later I received the call, they explained me what had happened and so I decided to help them. I left Milan and I travelled 150 km to arrive on the spot. The place was really lovely and the atmosphere was magical. The beach was very small and despite the many tourists it didn't take a long time to find out the precious ring. Fortunately it was not lost in water but only on the shoreline, a simple work for my Minelab Excalibur II, that find it with extreme precision at the second target.

It was a pleasure for me to recover the lost ring and deliver it to Martin who has been very happy to repossess an object of great sentimental value, but above all was wonderful visit a place of the old Italy so suggestive and charming.
