Minelab USA Partner Awards 2010

In September 2010 Minelab held the inaugural Minelab USA Partner Conference in Las Vegas. This conference was not only a great opportunity for Minelab USA Partners to learn more about Minelab products but also a chance for Minelab to recognise outstanding the performance of some of our authorised Minelab dealers with awards presented in two categories: Partner Excellence and Sales Excellence. Please help all of us at Minelab in congratulating the 2009-10 award winners.

The winners of the Partner Excellence awards are…

  • Mike Post from Woodland Metal Detector Sales in Swannanoa, NC. Mike was awarded with Excellence in Customer Care. This award goes to the partner in the Minelab organisation that has shown incredible passion and focus on serving Minelab customers with unprecedented passion. The Customer Care Champion will often perform an extra training session or outing to ensure customers using Minelab equipment understand procedures and techniques required for a successful dig.

    Mike embodies all of these things and spends much of his time teaching children about the art of metal detecting and all of its benefits. He provides regular outings for children at the local 4H camp and is now investing in a test garden to teach people how to identify different targets with different detectors. 
  • Gerry McMullen from Gerry’s Metal Detectors in Boise, ID. Gerry was awarded with Excellence in Business Growth. This award goes to the partner in the Minelab organization that has grown their business exponentially in the past year. This growth was done the Minelab way – natural investment in their business plan, personnel and overall Minelab product and customer base expansion.

    Gerry not only grew his already strong business by more than 600% in 2010 but he continues to focus much of his time supporting Minelab customers after the sale. As we all know, Gerry does not just sell people a metal detector – he spends the time to teach them and support them long after the sale. 
  • Stuart Auerbach and KellyCo Metal Detectors. Stuart was presented with the Eagle Award. The Eagle award goes to the partner in the Minelab organisation that exemplifies leadership in every aspect of our business from service to sales to technology and business feedback. The Eagle Award is the highest award Minelab bestows upon a channel organisation and represents a lifetime achievement in our industry.

    Stuart has spent many years building KellyCo and the overall metal detection industry in North America to be a viable and profitable industry for many hobbyists and professionals. He and KellyCo have been cornerstones in Minelab detector sales for over two decades and his excellence in providing solutions to customers continues year after year.


And the awards for Sales Excellence go to…

Minelab wishes to congratulate all of this year’s award winners for their amazing performances in 2009-10! Minelab would also like to extend our thanks to all of our partners. Throughout any year there are always too many exceptional performances to recognise – and our partners lead the way to exceptional in the metal detection industry. For this excellence and dedication all of us at Minelab thank you and appreciate all you do for Minelab customers!
