One Friday night, a received a call from a lady who was looking at my website. She asked me if I'd drive about 85 miles the next day, to near Abilene, TX, and help her. Her horse had been shot with a small bullet, she thought, and wondered if I would run my detector over the hip at the vet's office. It did look like her horse had a .22 bullet in her hip. Afterward, I asked if I could hunt her yard. I followed her to her home and hunted her yard, finding some clad coins. Her elderly neighbor came over and he volunteered his yard for a search. I found almost nothing in his yard, I thought. I dug up a belt buckle that I thought might have been part of a child's toy gun holster. After doing some research, I discovered it was a Waco Guards Confederate belt buckle, rarity 9! Rarity 10 is a unique item. I sent these photos to Heritage and they estimated an auction price of $8,000 and up!
