My story begins with my first ever dig and it was at Corfe Castle 2010 at Nordan Farm, got there on Monday with Captainpugwash. We did two days of sightseeing then went onto the very, very steep hill (almost died) lol. Found two Roman coins. Met Neil (slow and low) he took my detector, put in a programme and over the next two day found another eight. I thought to myself WOW, the man’s a genius lol. Got back to the farm for a few drinks, got up the following morning slightly crusty went around and met a few of my fellow Minelab owner’s family now friends for life. I met Gordan, Gary, Tony, John and me buddy Ste t, and Scotty. What a great bunch of people, very friendly, then I met the guys from Minelab Ireland, Des & Finbar. We then went to the big fields were I found a hammered continental coin, and a Roman brooch, happy days. Went back to the site after a great day food and drink.
