X-TERRA 70

Scrubbed yard

11 Jun 2013

I use a X-TERRA 70 with a 10 inch Double-D 7.5 kHz coil and a PRO-FIND 25 and have been very successful and happy with them so far.

On May 28th I got permission to hunt a property that has a house and out buildings that are in the middle of a remodel. The owner said there are a lot of nails and it had already been scrubbed pretty good. I have been there three times so far 28th,29th, and June 3rd. I have pulled a lot of new and old rusty deep nails, iron and trash.

So far I have pulled seventy two cents in clad and the old coins with the newest being a 41' wheat two 20' wheat's a 16'S wheat,1896 Indian Head a 17'S Mercury dime 4 Barber dimes 12'D, 07'D,1899 D, 1892 D. I also pulled three Buffalo nickels one being a 16'D and the dates are hard to read on the other two and one 03' Barber quarter.

There was also a little tiny cross that's either a lapel pin or tie tack. A blank copper tag and what's left of a handle off of a mirror possibly. A wheat a silver dime and two buffalo's came out of one hole. There were three nails that were next to the Barber quarter. That's why I always recheck the hole for more targets hidden away. There was also another nail in the same hole as one of the dimes.

I run my detector in all metal mode with three tone on the settings. Most of these targets were six to eight inches deep. I have not even hit the back of the property yet to see what's back there hidden away in the ground and I'm positive my X-TERRA 70 will find it.
