I'm the administrator of a northern England based metal detecting forum. As a forum we try to hold digs whenever possible for members. We arranged a dig in the 31st of May on the outskirts of Durham city. Like a normal forum dig, everyone is very friendly and we end up chatting for the first couple of hours!! When I finally managed to start detecting, I pulled up this beautiful but tiny Richard the lion Scottish hammered coin. It was my first cut quarter hammered I have ever found so I was over the moon. The coin is tiny but the ctx still found it! Thanks
