I have been using the CTX 3030 for over three years now and have been amazed at the performance of this detector. I recently detected a park that dated to the mid 1940s and on the first signal I found a 1952 silver half dollar! I decided to dig low tones which I normally do not do and was very surprised with the result. After about four holes I came across a solid 11:10 about four inches down and pulled out a beautiful old gold ring! The Initials JK appeared on the front of the ring and on the inside the ring was stamped 10k and "Love Bonnie". I ended the day with three silver dimes and a silver ring. The gold ring was my first gold ring found in the dirt since I usually only search for gold on beaches. The CTX continues to impress me and I would like to thank Minelab for creating such an impressive machine!
