After a very hot Sunday a trip down to the beach was in order the beaches were crowded, it had cooled down by the late afternoon. After tuning the detector off I went first signal was a $2 coin going along I picked up a few old 50c and 20c pieces near the water’s edge. The signals were very far and few so I decided to go towards the dry sand as I did so I got a strange signal digging it up I was surprised it was a brass tong with a dragons head at the front interesting find. Walking along I got a 38 reading on the display digging the target up revealed a little guitar with a pin on the back of it. Ask walked towards the drier sand I started getting more $2 coins ,one of the signals was also an interesting U.S.A.1985 one cent piece I'm sure there were more targets and coins to retrieve, but it was getting very late so a return hunt is in order for a later date, a very interesting hunt never the less, happy hunting to all.
