Historical Finds in Maine

02 May 2010

Dear Minelab,

I am writing you this note to show you one of my latest finds with my Minelab X-TERRA 70. Last weekend I went on a metal detecting trip with a bunch of friends to a part of Maine with a lot of history. I was using my X-TERRA in a field with my favorite coil, the 7.5kHz 10.5-inch Double-D. I got a signal that caught my attention, it was giving a sweet dime-quarter signal but it was broken up by an iron signal. I could get just enough separation to convince me to dig. I am glad I did, up came this beautiful 1797 British two pence from about 6-7 inches lying right next to a piece of iron. To say I was excited would be an understatement. Thanks for putting out such a great product; I would recommend a Minelab to anyone. Marty – ME, USA
