I have been working a lot lately and haven't had time to hunt. My hunting partner had been asking me for weeks to hunt so finally I decided to go door knocking with him at some old farmhouses. We got turned down a few times and then one gentleman gave us permission. The finds was far and few between until I hit a decent signal. I was thinking it was going to be a pop can because that's the way it had been going that day.
When I first saw it, I thought it was a token until I brushed some of the dirt away and I saw it an 1848 Silver Seated Half. I immediately took off to show my partner Nick, we were both shocked considering it had been a clad day with not much to show.
It's been 20 years searching for any seated coin and now I have joined that club!
